This week in celebration of Youth Art Month, our RCS Art Teachers are focusing on the process of creating art. We usually admire a work of art once it is complete and often forget about the planning, preparation, critical thinking, and time that went into creating the artwork itself. This year we are seeing our students create not only in the classroom, but at home as well.
We would like to share some snapshots of our students while they work on their pieces. In celebration of the art making process, our National Art Honor Society and the RCS Community Library has created a coloring sheet for our community to enjoy the process of art making as well. We invite you to print, color, and enjoy! If you would like to share your finished coloring sheet, please email it to cwallace@rcscsd.org. You can find the coloring sheet here.
