Last night was our Annual Music In Our Schools Month (MIOSM) Grade 6-12 Instrumental Concert. The students did a fantastic job! Beautiful performances to celebrate the importance of music education. Additionally, on Monday, March 21 at 10:30 AM, the High School Harmonics and Jazz Ensemble will be performing in the South Concourse at the Empire State Plaza as part of NYSMMA’s celebration of MIOSM. The performance is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend!

Big congratulations to Senior Uchenna Uba who came in 5th place for weight throw at the NYSPHSAA Track & Field State Championships this past weekend! She set a new personal record in weight throw with a distance of 44’7. She is now in the top 50 for High School Girls' Weight Throw. She also came in 10th place in shot put with another new personal record of 35’10. Fantastic job, Uchenna!!
