Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
The January & February Art Students of the Month come on the first day of Youth Art Month! Stay tuned to see the many ways RCS supports creativity and imagination through art in our schools.
The January Artist of the Month is Dionicio Diaz-Domingo!
Congratulations Dionicio Diaz-Domingo! Dionicio is currently enrolled in Studio Art and has shown a natural eye for drawing. He transferred into RCS this year and has shown real talent with his skills. Dionicio is a quick learner and understands the artistic concepts of drawing realistically very well. We look forward to having Dionicio possibly take more art classes with us and grow as an artist.

The February Artist of the Month is Faith O’Brien!
Congratulations Faith O’Brien! Faith is currently enrolled in AP:2D Art and Design with a concentration in Photography. Her sustained investigation is categorized as photojournalism. Her mission is to document people in real moments. She is doing a fantastic job at taking honest photographs. We look forward to seeing her full body of work once it is complete!
