PBC Intramurals take part in Snowshoeing Adventure

The Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School Intramurals group meets twice a week to participate in a variety of physical education activities after school. Their latest adventure was snowshoeing on the school property! 

The club is open to both fourth and fifth graders at PBC interested in participating. Currently, there are 35 students enrolled. The students take part in an assortment of cooperative activities, sports, and team challenges that focus on sportsmanship, leadership, and cooperation. 

"Our hopes are for more snow so we can really get the full snowshoeing experience," said John Conte, PBC Physical Education teacher and intramurals instructor. "But we are having a blast so far!!"
