There will be no school on Thursday, May 23, 2024 (Contingent Day), through Monday, May 27, 2024. The District will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.
Thursday, May 23, 2024, is a contingent recess day for students. RCS has not used all of our snow/emergency closure days for the 2023-2024 school year. There will be no student attendance this Thursday and Friday as Friday is a scheduled recess day.
As a reminder, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the AWB and PBC Elementary Schools dismissal time will follow the regular Friday dismissal schedule for all students, as this day is the day before a recess. Parent pick-up will start at 2:50 p.m., and all other students will be dismissed by 3:00 p.m. Parents should expect their elementary students to arrive home 30 minutes earlier than usual this Wednesday. There will be no homework club at either elementary school. After-school childcare programs will be held.
Additionally, there is no 10th-period, 10th-period buses, or 5 o’clock buses for the Middle and High Schools on Wednesday, May 22.
