RCS District to kick-off ‘Feature a Teacher’ during the month of October
Monday, Oct. 5 marks World Teachers’ Day which celebrates teachers and the work they do to engage students.
In celebration of this day and important work that our RCS teachers and staff do all year long, we will be telling the stories and showcasing some of our educators through a special segment titled ‘Feature a Teacher’ throughout the month of October.
“During this month, our district wanted to highlight the teachers, and the work that they do, during the month of October,” said RCS Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Bailey, Ed.D. “Especially during this time, whether our students are participating in-person, virtual or a combination of both, we have asked our teachers to continue going above and beyond for today’s classroom. We feel this recognition, and their respective stories, will allow our community to view what’s happening in today’s classroom. We hope you enjoy learning about their role in our district and how it affects RCS students.”
The ‘Feature a Teacher’ segment will kick off on Monday, Oct. 5 on the district’s Facebook page. A handful of educators from each of the four RCS District schools will be highlighted.
