Families now have more ways to ensure their kids get the nutrition they need during summer when school meals aren't available. Thanks to a generous grant from the Seymour Fox Memorial Foundation and a donation from the RCS Association of Churches, the Summer F.U.N. (Feed "UR" Neighbor) Kids Program will be available locally for families from July 1 through August 26. On Monday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., families can shop at Church of St. Patrick located at 21 Main Street, Ravena, NY 12143. More information about this local program may be found on their flier.

For state and other food assistance programs, the USDA is starting its SUN programs for the summer months. The USDA offers convenient, flexible options to help kids reach their full potential. Check out USDA SUN Programs here. The Summer EBT program is also offering more benefits to families this summer. Check out their flier for more details about the program and how to enroll.

As we head into the summer months, our website www.rcscsd.org is always available for families to check for district news and to find community resources.

We hope you have a great summer!
