Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
The High School Artist of the Month for November is Jeremy Pickup!
Jeremy is an 11th-grade student currently enrolled in Photography. Jeremy is a member of the National Art Honor Society and a three-year member of the Photography Club. Jeremy’s dedication to his Photography is seen through the success of his pieces. With his main focus being landscapes, Jeremy makes sure to consistently bring his camera with him whenever he is outdoors. Jeremy understands to take his time and fully plan out his compositions when taking photographs. He also puts time into editing his photos. He can often be found editing his work in Adobe Photoshop, making sure that the lighting and colors are exactly what he envisions. We are very impressed with his work ethic.
