Good Afternoon RCS Students, Staff, Families, and Community Members,
The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is in the planning stages for a future construction project that will include important updates to our existing facilities. As we develop a proposal for a possible construction referendum for voter approval in the late fall of 2022, we are conducting a survey to hear diverse voices from our entire RCS Community. We must ensure that we appropriately preserve and design our facilities for our current and future students as well as for our community.
Our first priority in any construction project is to complete required maintenance based on a building condition survey that is completed every five years. The second priority is to adapt or improve our facilities in order to address current and future programmatic needs for the next five years and beyond. Please consider participating in the "Thoughtexchange" survey located below. The survey will close on Tuesday, June 28 at 6:00 p.m. All information is private, and we welcome your recommendations as we begin to consider this project. We thank you for participating and for sharing your feedback on the future of the RCS Central School District.

An RCS facilities planning committee will be considering the feedback from this survey to guide their discussion, research, and planning for a possible construction project. The district will also be considering how to utilize expiring debt, grants, state and federal incentives, and our funds from our current Capital Reserves in order to limit or alleviate any potential impact on our taxpayers. Please participate in this important survey about the future of RCS.
