In the 2021-2022 First Tech Challenge season Ravena Robotics, team #14281 has competed in two competitions. This challenge requires teams to build and test a robot that can complete tasks on the playing field. There is also a team interview process where judges ask questions about the design, construction, and testing of the robot.
In the first competition at Broadalbin-Perth High School, the students never gave up, and were able to win matches, but fell short of reaching the regional round.
The team then traveled to Clarkson University for their last chance to move on to the regional competition. The team was selected by the #1 team, Enderbots, to compete in the playoff rounds of the competition. With this alliance, they were able to win the first round and move on to the finals! Ravena Robotics will now travel to Utica to attend the regional championship on March 6!
