Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
As we approach the end of the first semester, staff have chosen two Artists of the Month for December as both Drawing & Painting and Photography will be coming to an end.
The December Artists of the Month are Chizoba Uba & Arianna Ortiz!
Our Drawing and Painting student is Chizoba Uba! Chizoba is a 10th-grade student. She is great at paying attention to details and loves to work with realism drawings while working creativity into her paintings. Her paintings are especially eye-catching. We look forward to seeing her future artwork!

Our Photography student is Arianna Ortiz! Arianna is a senior who previously has taken Studio in Art and Graphic Design! She is great at slowing down and taking time to set up her composition. She understands the importance of both framing and lighting. Her attention to detail is a common theme in her work.
