Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
The November Artist of the Month is Skylar Hyslop!
Skylar is currently enrolled in AP 2D Art and Design, a college-level art course that is offered at the high school. Skylar is also a member of the National Art Honor Society. She has previously taken Studio in Art and Drawing and Painting. Skylar has been building her portfolio in a variety of ways this year. Her work includes drawing, painting, oil pastel, photo collage, photography, and printmaking! Skylar is always willing to push herself outside of her comfort zone in order to explore new materials.
