For Black History Month, RCS Middle School seventh grade social studies students participated in a classroom project to research any prominent African American figures in history. As part of their research and reporting, students were required to include a picture, childhood information, obstacles the individuals overcame, their accomplishments and why they selected the person to highlight for the project. Students presented their findings in a variety of formats from Google Slides to videos and songs.
Here are a few presentation images from RCS Middle School seventh graders reporting on historical figures as part of Black History Month.
