In preparation for a decision to be made on the approval of the 2021 Winter Sports season, RCS Athletics winter sports registration is now open for the following sports and levels:
Girls JV and Varsity Basketball - Kiley Shortell (kshortell@rcscsd.org)
Boys JV and Varsity Basketball - Eric Stott (estott@rcscsd.org)
JV and Varsity Cheerleading - Ashley Augustine (ashley.lynne421@gmail.com)
JV and Varsity Wrestling - Justin Schipano (jschipano@rcscsd.org)
Unfortunately, modified sports are not slated to run within the Colonial Council at this time. Please note that we are offering sign-ups so that we can be prepared to start practices in the event the 4% infection rate is achieved in Albany County and high-risk winter sports are approved by the Albany County Department of Health (ACDOH). At this point, we have not received approval for sports but are being proactive with the registration and sign-up process. Please reach out to the respective RCS Winter Sport coach (listed above) to register and keep up to date on the start date and practice time information for your prospective team.
