Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
Artist of the Month for October is Owen Smith!
Owen is an 11th grade student currently enrolled in Photography. Owen comes to class each day ready to participate, he does a wonderful job critiquing photographs and sharing his opinion. Owen’s photographs are very calm. He utilizes balance, shapes and line to compose images that are welcoming to the viewer. Owen is also one of the newest members of the National Art Honor Society.
