During the week of October 7 to 11, families had the chance to join their students in a series of engaging P.E. classes, highlighting the importance of physical activity for all ages. With numerous benefits, including increased energy, improved focus, and reduced stress, our district is dedicated to encouraging active lifestyles for students and their families.
A.W. Becker Elementary School saw a remarkable turnout with 212 family members participating, while RCS Middle School welcomed 96 moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, and two of our Districts Student Resource Officers. Families enjoyed playing a variety of fun games alongside their students, showcasing the joy of being physically active together.
“The week is to create an environment where families can have fun and stay healthy,” said Majiel Baker, RCS Middle School Physical Education Teacher. “Events like these make fitness enjoyable and build lasting memories.”
Thank you to all the families who took the time to join us for this memorable P.E. experience. Your involvement plays a vital role in promoting a culture of health and wellness within our community!
