The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District has released the draft of the revision of the Student Code of Conduct. The revisions are limited to the section entitled, District-wide behavior chart: intervention and consequences, located on pages 21-26. Pursuant to the NYSED Commissioner’s Regulation Education Law 2801(5.a), the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is making the draft of the Student Code of Conduct available for public comment prior to its adoption. It has been placed on our website for your convenience.

Our community feedback window for the Student Code of Conduct will be from July 10, 2024 - August 7, 2024. Please submit questions or comments about the proposed revisions made to Section 5: Levels of Interventions and Responses; District-wide behavior chart: intervention and consequences, by emailing Jean Winkler, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction at jwinkler@rcscsd.org. A summary of the changes was presented to the Board of Education at the July 10th meeting. The presentation of the changes can be found here and the link to watch the presentation can be found here.
The completed plan will be adopted by the RCS Board of Education on August 7, 2024.
