Ravena Coeymans Selkirk CSD families will have expanded access to their child’s transportation assignments this year through a new engagement phone app called Stopfinder.
Stopfinder is an all-in-one, easy to use app for viewing and sharing bus schedules. It also allows families added communication access with the district’s transportation department.
Through the phone app, parents and guardians can view their student’s daily transportation assignments – including transfer trips and stops. It also allows parents to securely share your student’s schedule with caregivers.
The district will now have new abilities to notify families of updates that will affect their child’s transportation plan, including school closings, delays, scheduled day off reminders, early dismissal reminders and more. The application will also include the ability to send private messages to the district’s transportation department.
Information within the application is secure. Access to student schedules is granted only to the student’s designated contacts by the Transportation Department. Contacts, at their own discretion, may share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers).
An invitation to activate your Stopfinder account will be sent via email. You can learn more about the application’s features by visiting the company website.
