Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
The February Art Student of the Month comes during the first week of Youth Art Month! Stay tuned to see the many ways RCS supports creativity and imagination through art in our schools.
Artist of the Month for February is Kadance Pickup!
Kadance is a 10th-grade student currently enrolled in ceramics. She has previously taken Studio in Art and Drawing and Painting. Kadance comes to class every day ready and excited to work on whatever project is assigned. She is always putting her creative brain to use with some sort of artistic expression. Kadance is currently a member of the National Art Honor Society and is involved with many community projects. She is currently designing the 2nd Annual We Love aRtCS Festival logo. The Art Department is excited to see what comes next from this great artist!
