School-issued devices will automatically connect to the district WiFi. If a student is having trouble or their device is not connecting, please contact the Help Desk at (518) 756-5200 ext. 2200 or at helpdesk@rcscsd.org.
Students and community members are able to access Guest WiFi on each RCS school campus at the completion of the school day and on weekends (3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday). Students’ personal devices will not automatically connect to the Guest WiFi. Students who would like to connect their personal devices at the completion of the school day should follow the WiFi for the community directions below. Please note, the Guest WiFi will not be on during the school day.

WiFi for the Community
Students and community members are able to access community WiFi on each RCS school campus at the completion of the school day and on weekends (3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday). To do so, please follow these directions:
Go into your phone’s WiFi settings
Connect to the WiFi RCSCSD_Guest. No password is required to connect
When you connect to the network, your browser will be redirected to a captive portal that will prompt you for your name, email address, and phone number. You will also need to agree to the terms of the RCS Technology Acceptable Use Agreement. Upon completion of the form, your login credentials will be emailed and texted to you.
After completing the form, you will be prompted for a username and password. Please use the credentials that were emailed/texted to you.
Please Note: Anyone using this WiFi will need to agree to the terms of the Technology Acceptable Use Agreement with the District before being allowed to access the Community WiFi. This means that sites that are blocked for students and staff will also be blocked for the community, this includes but is not limited to social media sites, gaming websites, and more.
