Important Transportation Information for the 2024-2025 School Year

Please read this information carefully as it contains important information regarding transportation for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have any questions, please contact our Transportation Department at Transportation@RCSCSD.org or at (518) 756-5241.

Additional details regarding transportation will be shared as we get closer to the beginning of school.

Bus Routes

Families will be receiving their student’s pick-up location and estimated time via email and mail later in the summer, please note that this time may change as we continue to evaluate and determine our required resources for a successful year. Please have your student ready to board the bus 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. If changes are made, families will be notified.

Use the Stopfinder app for updated information on your student's daily transportation assignments.

  • View your student’s daily transportation assignments – including transfer trips and stops

In-District Transportation Dismissal Times for the 2024-2025 School Year:

  • Elementary Schools:

    • Dismissal for students begins at 3:20 p.m., Monday - Thursday.

    • Dismissal for students begins at 2:50 p.m. on Fridays and any day before an official school recess day.

  • Middle & High School:

    • Regular Dismissal begins at 2:02 p.m.

    • Enrichment (10th Period) Dismissal: 2:40 p.m., Monday - Thursday. No Enrichment (10th Period) on Fridays or any day before an official school recess day.

    • 5:00 p.m. buses Monday - Thursday - Does not run on Fridays or any day before an official school recess day.

Access Student Schedules

Access to student schedules is granted only to the student’s designated contacts by the Transportation Department. The Stopfinder contacts, at their own discretion, may share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers.) An invitation to activate your Stopfinder account will be sent via email.

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District’s fleet of roughly 40 vehicles travel more than 5,600 miles a day, providing transportation to district students, as well as students from the district that attend private schools and out-of-district programs.
