Communications
The communications department works with teachers, administrators, and support staff to keep the community connected to the schools and up-to-date about district happenings and the successes of our students.
The office manages the district website, Facebook and YouTube accounts. It is responsible for producing the annual district calendar, budget newsletter and other district-wide publications.
News media requests and visits to RCS District
If you are a news media outlet wishing to speak with a member of our staff or are looking to come to any schools or buildings within the RCS District, please coordinate your visit with the district’s Communications Office. As per Board of Education policy, all media inquiries must be cleared by the Superintendent of Schools, or designated district spokesperson. For example, even if a teacher contacts the news media, the visit still must be coordinated with the district’s Communications Office, who works directly in coordination with the Superintendent of Schools on all media requests.
