Branding and Logo Guidelines

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District underwent a mascot rebranding process starting in May 2023. The effort was part of a larger, statewide movement initiated by the New York State Department of Education to transition the use of Indigenous names, mascots, and logos away from public schools. Our district is among nearly 70 schools across New York that have since participated in the effort in 2023. During that time the District retired its former mascot and through community feedback emerged as the RCS Ravens for the 2024-2025 school year. Learn more about the RCS Rebranding Process.

Our District Identity

The RCS Brand has been designed to reflect a standard of excellence in academics while reinforcing school pride. Our logo, colors, typography, and imagery are carefully crafted to reflect our District's Brand. All parties utilizing any of the RCS brand elements should follow the Brand Guide Manual with attention to detail in order to preserve the RCS Brand image.

Creation, application, or any use of the RCS brand elements must conform to approved standards as authorized by RCS Central School District. It is important that your marketing materials use RCS approved brand elements correctly. Please contact the communications office with questions regarding compliance with this guide.
