Albertus W. Becker Elementary School serves 424 students, Pre-kindergarten to Grade 5, in the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District.

A.W. Becker Elementary School is a caring community of learners which includes students, staff and parents. We are proudly committed to every student’s success, both academically and socially. Students are encouraged to become all he/she can be with focus on the Becker “B’s”: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful.

A.W. Becker Elementary School was constructed from 1962 – 1963. A renovation to the school in 2002 doubled the size of the building and offered the students new learning opportunities within the space. The school includes 28 classrooms, a STEAM Maker Space, art room, music room, band room, gymnasium, intervention rooms, speech classrooms, OT/PT room, special education classrooms, health office, school psychologist’s office, social worker’s office, Counseling Center, combined cafeteria & stage area, main office, and playground with playing fields.
