The parent/guardian/authorized adult is handed a pass, with the child’s name on it. The parent waits for the child in the school lobby. When the teacher brings the class to the lobby for dismissal, the parent presents the pass to the teacher, who allows the child to join the parent. Upon exiting the front doors, the parent returns the pass to a staff member, who checks to make sure that the child is exiting the school with the parent.
