All R-C-S faculty, staff and substitutes now have the ability to complete their annual HazCom training requirement electronically through the Capital Region BOCES. Be sure to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. Failure to properly follow directions may result in your not receiving credit for completing the training.
Complete all required registration questions and follow the directions given. You may use your work or personal e-mail address to register. The password can be any password of your choosing.
Remember the e-mail address and password you use to register! The email address you use becomes your "login" for the online training. (FYI that password will also work with the online Bloodborne Pathogens trainings, if you also need that training)
Once you see
the registration message, "Thank you for your registration. Your
information has been submitted to the event host," you will need to
access your e-mail account and read your e-mail to get the training URL
Click on the training URL link that is delivered to your e-mail address to begin the training. Your school district will be notified that you took this training.
You may need to allow several minutes to receive the confirmation e-mail. Save this e-mail.
If you never receive an e-mail:
-- When registering, make sure you typed
your full email address correctly! This is the #1 registration problem.
-- Also check your junk folder and/or SPAM filter in the event your computer security filtered out the e-mail. Your district technology staff person may need to assist you with this.
If you experience "buffering" while viewing the training, this is a problem with your computer not the presentation. We recommend you contact your district's IT department.
