The process for a policy to be adopted into the manual is not a quick decision. The Policy Committee meets once a month. They discuss certain policies that are either outdated, need to be reviewed, are updated by Erie1Boces, or are referred to the Committee. Once the Committee meets on the policy, it is brought to the Board of Education for the First Reading. It is not voted on at that time. It is sent to the Public/Staff to review for 30 days. If there are no issues, concerns, suggestions or corrections, it is brought back to the Board of Eduation for the Second Reading, at which time they can approve and adopt into the Policy Manual. Should you have issues, concerns, suggestions or corrections, regarding the below policies, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
